Jean Donnet is an attorney at law admitted at the Bar of Geneva. After passing the Bar exam in 1989, he practiced until 1992 in the tax & legal department of the accounting firm Revisuisse Société Suisse de Révision SA in Geneva, which became Revisuisse Price Waterhouse SA. In 1992, he joined as an associate and later on as a partner, the Law firm Notter, Megevand & Grosjean which, in 2002, became Notter Mégevand & Partners. Jean Donnet then joined the Geneva law firm Budin & Partners in 2003 as a partner. In 2010 he finally returned to Notter Mégevand & Partners, which later on changed its name into NOMEA Avocats SA.

He advises and represents individual and corporate clients more particularly in the areas of commercial and business law (contracts, corporate matters, businesses set up); immigration law (residence permits, naturalization) and tax law (especially lump-sum taxation for foreigners). He also advises clients in matters related to asset management and real estate. His other practice areas include litigation in commercial cases, as well as procedures in relation to international mutual assistance in criminal and tax matters.
