Laurent Grobéty

Laurent Grobéty is an attorney at law admitted to the Bar of the Canton of Bern. After completing bilingual studies (French/German) at the University of Fribourg, he worked as a graduate assistant and lecturer at the Chair of Civil Procedure and Enforcement Law at the University of Fribourg. In 2018, he obtained a PhD in civil procedural law from the same University. He then completed his legal internship with the Jura Bernois-Seeland Regional Court and a law firm in Bern. In 2020, he passed the bar exam. After that, he worked as a law clerk at the Jura Bernois-Seeland Regional Court in Biel before joining NOMEA Notter Mégevand & Associés SA in 2023. He is also a senior lecturer at the Universities of Fribourg and Lausanne and at UniDistance Suisse. Laurent Grobéty is the author of numerous scientific publications, mainly in the field of civil procedural law. Furthermore, he frequently gives conferences and provides further training in this area of law.

In addition to civil procedural law, his main areas of practice are enforcement law, contract law (particularly tenancy and employment law), construction law, inheritance law, commercial law, personality law and family law.
