Robert HENSLER passed his Bar exam in 1979, is a member of the Geneva Bar and has a strong legal, economic and financial background. He was State Chancellor of the Republic and canton of Geneva during four legislatures. Then, he joined the lawfirm KAISER BOHLER HENSLER. In 2012, he integrated the lawfirm FONTANET & ASSOCIES and practised as partner until January 2024. Since 1st February 2024, Robert HENSLER is partner of the lawfirm NOMEA Lawyers Ltd.
Robert HENSLER sepecializes in administrative, business, tax, international, criminal business law as well as mergers & acquisitions. He regularly advises and represents private and public clients, notably foreign States in his areas of competences. He has an outstanding knowledge of the Swiss federal, cantonal and municipal administrations. Beyond his activity as an attorney, he is chairman of the multinational company TotalEnergies Gestion Internationale SA and is also member of several boards of directors of various companies and foundations active notably in the property management, gastronomy and production of chocolate, education, housing and finance sectors.
Robert HENSLER is a Chevalier of the French Legion d’honneur and an Officer of the National Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
